“The Following”

The Following remains my all time favorite series. The ties to Edgar Allen Poe, the father of American horror, was genius. Kevin Bacon turned in his greatest performance, rivaling his brilliant performance in “Murder in the First.” James Purefoy was outstanding in the roll of the mastermind serial killer, Joe Carroll. Three seasons. The third started slow but finished strong and I was truly sad when the series came to an end. If you have not seen the series I highly recommend it.
