Mark 15: 25 – It was the third hour when they crucified him. (The third hour in Jewish time would have been 9 a.m.)
So, by this time Christ had already been arrested, tried before Pilate, went before Herod, back to Pilate, sentenced to death, beaten, flogged, spit on, and dragged his cross to Calvary, still being mocked, and beaten along the way.
For the next six hours, think about what Christ endured for YOU…for me…and even for those who have and continue to deny him.
At 3PM, it was done.
