AMC is under production for an Interview With A Vampire series. The series will star Sam Reid as Lestat de Lioncourt and Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac, as well as some of the other characters we’ll soon be meeting. Anne Rice’s novel, first published in 1976, documents the tumultuous relationship between Louis and Lestat, the vampire who turned him, as told by Louis to a reporter.
Rolin Jones (Friday Night Light’s) serves as creator, writer, and showrunner on Interview with the Vampire. Alan Taylor is directing two episodes of the seven-episode first season.Taylor has been nominated for Emmy’s for work in The Supranos, Mad Men, and Game of Thrones.
Per AMC, the series is expected to premier sometime late 2022.
